Building Strong Collaborative Relationships to End Youth Homelessness: Driving Systemic Change at the Local Level
November 1, 2021 @ 12:30pm – 1:30pm EST
Leaders from the National Network for Youth (NN4Y) offered strategies that you can apply in your community regarding local, coordinated approaches to preventing and ending youth and young adult homelessness. Presenters Andrew Palomo (Director of Strategic Partnerships), Darla Bardine (Executive Director), and Anthony Simpson (Stoneleigh Fellow) also provided high level federal policy updates in a lunchtime presentation intended for RHY providers, McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaisons, and other interested NRPM partners.
NN4Y partners with youth who have experienced homelessness and community-based youth homelessness providers to improve and align policies to prevent and end youth homelessness at the federal level. They also support communities to address the root causes of homelessness among young people by advancing innovative, long-term solutions to resolve local system challenges and weaknesses.
